The
following instructions are for installing calculator updates. For help
installing the calculator for the first time on a computer click here.
Installation
Download
the updated calculator installation file. Your
original purchase confirmation email contains a link to the download
page. Be
sure to
download the correct version for your computer's operating system
(Windows 7 vs. Windows 8 or 10).
Double-click
the (.exe) installation file to launch it. You will see the screen
below. If you have a shortcut to the calculator on your
desktop
that you want updated, be sure to check the box.
Clcik "Next" and then "Install" to
complete the installation wizard.
The new update will be
installed in the same folder where you orginally installed the
calculator.
The Start menu link to the clculator
will be updated.
When you open the new calculator you won’t
need to
re-enter your license key, as long as it’s the same computer where you
had the
previous version installed.
Any customer analyses that you had
previously saved will not be affected by the update. They can still be
opened and will still generate output reports.
